Elegant Design Earns Nod From Domus

“Concrete Twist,” appearing in Domus, about a building designed by Penn State Department of Architecture Head Mehrdad Hadighi and Tsz Yan Ng, was selected as one of the site’s best news stories of the week.

The Lafayette 148 building in Shantou, China, commissioned by the New York-based fashion design company, was selected from a pool of more than 500 international entries.

“By building upon local traditions of construction, the architects have created an elegantly wrapped building that does more than simply make a fashionable reference,” the author writes.
